A Miami massage therapist has found himself under arrest, charged with alarming allegations of sexual assault on a client. Leandro Pardo-Fuentes, 32, faces a serious accusation after a woman reported an unwelcome and invasive encounter at The Mark Spa. NBC Miami first reported that on a recent Wednesday, Pardo-Fuentes was allegedly involved in inappropriate behavior with a 25-year-old client receiving his services.
What was meant to be a routine massage appointment at The Mark Spa, located at 14510 SW 8th St. in west Miami-Dade, turned quickly into a nightmare for the victim. According to the woman, while in the face-down position, Pardo-Fuentes began to improperly touch her. In a statement obtained by NBC Miami, she reported that the massage therapist started to grope her buttocks before moving his hand to more intimate areas without consent, a horrific violation of her personal space and trust.
The incident didn't end there. The victim described a further escalation of Pardo-Fuentes's alleged actions. As reported by Local 10, she claimed he "digitally penetrated her vagina" against her will, forced her to touch his exposed penis, and attempted to kiss her on the lips before licking her breast.
This series of accusations presents a troubling view of the alleged therapeutic encounter. The trauma inflicted on the client and the breach of professional conduct attributed to Pardo-Fuentes are significant. Following his arrest, Pardo-Fuentes was taken into custody and booked at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, with a bond set at $10,000. It is unclear whether Pardo-Fuentes has retained an attorney, as information regarding his representation is not currently available.
Miami-Dade Police have underscored the seriousness of the charge against Pardo-Fuentes, which is classified as sexual battery on a victim aged 18 or older without serious injury.
