The City of Minneapolis is set to host the 2024 Trans Equity Summit on October 30, an event aimed at fostering a safe and thriving environment for the trans community. According to information released by the City of Minneapolis, this summit will be held from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the McNamara Alumni Center's Memorial Hall, located at 200 Oak St. SE.
The summit's goal is to provide a platform for trans and gender nonconforming individuals to connect with resources and one another while educating all attendees on the issues impacting their community.
While the event is free to the public, interested persons are encouraged to quickly sign up as space is limited, as detailed by the City of Minneapolis. This presents an opportunity to actively engage in discussions and workshops focused on trans equity and inclusion. To register for the event or for general inquiries, the public has been directed to reach out via email to city staff. More details can be expected to follow on the official summit page.
