Relief spread across Alameda County today as the Sheriff's Office announced the safe location of two previously missing teenagers. The juveniles, identified as Elvis Merino and Michelle Olivas, aged 15, had been the subject of an urgent search after disappearing from San Lorenzo last Friday evening. In a social media post, the Alameda County Sheriff expressed gratitude towards community members for their role in the successful outcome: "We are happy to report that both juveniles have been safely located. Thank you to all who shared the original post and to those who called to offer assistance."

Before being found, Elvis Merino was last seen wearing a black suit, pink vest, and black shoes. He stood out with a birthmark on the right side of his face. At the same time, Michelle Olivas disappeared carrying a small pink backpack, donning a pink dress paired with a black jacket and shoes.
The outreach campaign, spearheaded by the Sheriff's Office, highlighted the critical details of both teens' appearances in their plea for public assistance. They believed the two were together, increasing their concern and urgency. According to the Hoodline report, the community was asked to "be on the lookout for Elvis and to immediately call 9-1-1 if they have any information."
