
The Metro Nashville Police Department is actively searching for a suspect following a bank robbery that took place on Murfreesboro Pike yesterday afternoon. According to WSMV, the incident occurred just before 2 p.m. at First Horizon Bank.
Witness descriptions depict the suspect as a male in his early twenties, clad entirely in black including a ski mask, gloves, and glasses. After allegedly demanding money and fleeing the scene, he was reported to have run toward the Nashboro Golf Course. The police are now trying to swiftly track down the suspect before any further incidents can potentially occur.
Further details on the robbery were shared by the Metro Nashville Police Department via a social media post and have been disseminated in an effort for public assistance. "Plz help us identify this bank robbery suspect who walked into First Horizon Bank, 2360 Murfreesboro Pk, this afternoon, passed a note & demanded money at gunpoint. He fled towards Nashboro Golf Course. Know him? Call 615-742-7463," the post stated.
In addition to the call for help from citizens, the Metro Nashville Police have also released photographs of the suspect, hoping that someone will be able to identify the individual. As reported by WKRN, the images show the suspect entering the bank located at the 2300 block of Murfreesboro Pike and then proceeding to commit the robbery at gunpoint. The authorities have emphasized the importance of community cooperation in apprehending the suspect to ensure the safety of the public.
