As reported by WSMV, the incident occurred Sunday night just before 7:30 p.m. outside the 4:13 Strong residential program on Foster Avenue. Authorities have labeled Turrentine a person of interest, and caution that he may be armed. The situation escalated from an altercation between residents of the rehabilitation program the day prior, which led to one individual being turned away when he attempted to return.

The conflict culminated in violence as the excluded resident, upon being told he could no longer participate in the program, was involved in an incident that resulted in the death of Michael Harvell, a 44-year-old man who is believed to be the father of a resident at the 4:13 program, according to a WKRN.
Details provided by WKRN reveal that Turrentine was unaccounted for around the time of the shooting and had fled the treatment facility on foot after the incident. MNPD has described Turrentine, last seen wearing a grey hoodie and light blue jeans. The public is urged to exercise caution and report any sightings immediately to 911 or the dedicated hotline at 615-742-7463.
