The City of North Miami and District 4 Councilman Pierre Frantz Charles, M.Ed., are calling residents to join the conversation at the District 4 Town Hall Meeting. The event, scheduled for yesterday, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Joe Celestin Center, aims to connect people with crucial community resources and bring them up to speed on significant City programs. According to a release posted on the city’s website, attendees will get a chance to learn about opportunities such as home repair grants that could go up to $60,000.
Furthermore, insight on the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) Home Beautification Program and CRA business grants designed to empower local businesses will be provided. The meeting also promises updates on public safety and fire safety, and offers a support in understanding code and zoning compliance within North Miami. For those interested in attending, the Joe Celestin Center is located at 1525 NW 135 Street, North Miami, FL 33168.
An additional feature of the town hall will be the opportunity for residents to sign up for home safety equipment kits. These kits, sponsored by the North Miami CRA, are focused on helping families gear up for emergencies and bolstering overall community safety. Distribution of the kits will occur following the event, ensuring all those who register can be part of the community-wide safety enhancement effort.
All interested in the well-being of District 4 are greatly encouraged to take part in the dialogue of this meeting. For more details or queries, the community can reach out to the Office of Councilman Pierre Frantz Charles at 305-895-9815, as noted in the city's announcement.
