According to NBC Chicago, the accident happened just before 8 a.m. at the crossing of Buffalo Grove Road and Larraway Drive, with the Buffalo Grove Police confirming the fatality of an adult male pedestrian, hit by a gray Toyota sedan.

The driver of the Toyota, a woman, was immediately taken to the hospital, her condition at the time unknown. Sgt.
