While Wednesday will begin mostly sunny with a high near 80, easterly winds are anticipated to shift south, bringing a shift in weather patterns. Evening forecasts predict an 80 percent chance of precipitation with showers and possibly a thunderstorm occurring after midnight, plunging temperatures to a low of around 49 degrees.
The possibility of inclement weather continues into Thursday and Friday, with an 80 percent likelihood of showers and thunderstorms on Thursday and a high temperature of around 62 degrees. The showers are expected to continue into the night. By Friday, the rain might ease up somewhat, though it is still likely, particularly before noon, with the forecast predicting a 70 percent chance of precipitation and a high near the 50-degree mark.
The weekend outlook seems more encouraging for those planning outdoor activities. Saturday will be mostly sunny with a high of 56 degrees, and even as the night cools to a low around 40, the clear skies are predicted to largely hold. Sunday should also stay mostly sunny, albeit with a slight chance of rain, and temperatures reaching up near 58 degrees. The clear pattern is projected to continue through Monday, offering a sunny start to the week with a high nearing 66 degrees.
