Residents of Seguin with outstanding warrants have an upcoming opportunity to reduce their legal financial burdens. According to the City of Seguin's official website, the Seguin Municipal Court is launching its first annual Case Reduction Campaign. The initiative, set to run from November 1 through December 15, offers a reprieve by considering reduced fines and flexible payment options.
The program's benefits include options such as establishing payment plans, community service, or alternative solutions for individuals unable to pay in full. As stated on the city's announcement, this financial clemency is reserved exclusively for defendants or their legal representation; bonding companies, and even well-intentioned friends, spouses, or relatives can't step in to negotiate.
The court has opened its doors wider to encourage participation. Interested persons with active warrants should make their way to the Municipal Court at 660 S State Hwy 46 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Alternatively, the court can be contacted at (830) 401-2325 for case discussions.
