The shooting happened near the intersection of northbound Interstate 95 and NW 79th Street, where a Rolls-Royce SUV was hit by multiple shots fired from a dark sedan. Fortunately, despite the violence of the incident around 2:19 a.m., none of the three people inside the SUV were injured.
The details surrounding the motive and identity of the assailant remain unclear, and the suspect or suspects responsible for the gunfire have not been apprehended, the Florida Highway Patrol told NBC Miami.
