According to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO), the incident began around 1:30 A.M. near the crossroads of Spanish Trail Lane and Mirage Lane, as reported by WREG.
Responding to a call regarding a suspicious person, deputies encountered the man who, allegedly fired a gun at them. The SCSO confirmed a deputy returned fire, striking the suspect in the hand.
