Early Tuesday in Indianapolis, a victim was targeted in an armed carjacking at a gas station, leading to the arrest of three minors. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to the 3200 block of North Central Avenue after the victim reported being approached by five suspects—two with handguns and three wearing masks—around 1:30 a.m. The suspects stole the victim's driver's license, cell phone, and $100 in cash before fleeing in the victim's car. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department's search ended with the recovery of the stolen vehicle within an hour in the 3100 block of Meadows Drive. When officers approached a group of five males leaving an apartment complex, the suspects ran, but three were caught. WTHR added that one suspect had the victim’s driver's license, and $800 in cash was found in the vehicle.
