As Action News 5 reported, the Memphis Police Department (MPD) dispatched officers to the 3100 block of Jackson, near Macon Road, at approximately 8:25 p.m., locating two victims who were swiftly transported to Regional One Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
As the investigation unfolded, a section of Jackson Avenue found itself cordoned off between Hudson and Macon Road for several hours. In contrast, law enforcement concentrated their efforts around a parked vehicle, which became a focal point of the shooting scene.
