On Monday night, within the walls of JJ Fish & Chicken located in the 7800 block of South Western Avenue, an argument escalated to tragic proportions. According to Chicago police reports, the altercation involved a 56-year-old man and a 55-year-old man, whose discussions with a male employee turned fateful around 10:30 p.m. "The employee then took out a gun to fatally shoot both victims in the head," said the police, as the Chicago Sun-Times reported.
Despite the chaos that followed, the employee managed to flee the scene and has yet to quickly answer for his actions as he remains at large. The individuals were pronounced dead where they fell, marking the restaurant not only as a place where meals are served but now also as a site of mourning and loss.
