Yesterday in southern Palm Beach County, a vehicle was found submerged in a canal, leading to the discovery of an unidentified individual. According to WPTV, Palm Beach County Fire Rescue teams responded to a report about the car in the canal at the 9200 block of Southwest Third Street, west of Boca Raton, around 12:34 p.m. The length of time the car had been underwater before the discovery is currently unknown.
Responding teams found an overturned vehicle in the canal. Palm Beach County Fire Rescue's dive team quickly searched the car and the area, recovering one body, which was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. WPBF confirmed that rescue divers removed one person from the vehicle, and no other victims were found during the search of the surrounding area.
