The City of Boynton Beach is gearing up for an exciting event as it prepares to welcome art enthusiasts to the 2025 International Kinetic Art Experience. Scheduled for the first weekend of February, this biennial exhibition is a playground for the senses, highlighting motion and innovation through the works of kinetic artists from around the globe. The outdoor and indoor installations promise to be eye-catching and interactive, engaging visitors in a unique cultural experience.
According to an announcement by the city, on February 1 and February 2, downtown Boynton Beach will transform into a vibrant hub for contemporary art. "This year’s exhibit will showcase absolutely captivating and immersive art displays and will attract people from all over South Florida," said Craig Clark, Boynton Beach Director of Recreation and Cultural Services. The festivities, including the outdoor art tour, will kick off at noon on Saturday and 11 a.m. on Sunday, bringing two days’ worth of free family-friendly activities to the community.
More than 30 artists will have their work on display, both outside and within the walls of the Boynton Beach Arts & Cultural Center, located at 125 E. Ocean Ave. Visitors can expect a full schedule, featuring educational “Artists’ Talks” symposium, live music, and food trucks. In addition, children's art activities will be available, offering a creative outlet for the younger attendees. The event will not only serve as a showcase for the artists but will also bolster Boynton Beach's reputation as an emerging cultural destination.
With an easy-to-navigate, self-guided outdoor tour setup, the event is tailored to be accessible and enjoyable for all attendees.
