
The community is on alert as the Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO) continues its search for Zanariyah Jones, a 14-year-old girl reported missing from Tamarac. Specifically, the BSO Missing Persons Unit has reached out to the public for assistance, with Jones having last been seen around 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday near the 7200 block of North University Drive, according to Local 10.
Jones is described as standing 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs approximately 100 pounds. She has distinctive orange hair, brown eyes, and her last known outfit was a black long-sleeve shirt paired with black pants. The BSO, seeking to widen the net of awareness, shared this description through various outlets, in the hope that someone, anywhere, might have a crucial piece of the puzzle that could lead to her being found.
Authorities have provided contact details for anyone who might have information regarding Zanariyah's whereabouts.
