
The Cedar City community has been struck by tragedy following the discovery of Eduardo Gutierrez-Nava, a 35-year-old man previously reported missing, now confirmed deceased after a motorcycle crash. According to ABC4, Gutierrez-Nava was last seen on Oct. 29 and his body was found by a volunteer searcher near mile marker 7 on State Route 14 on Nov. 2.
While full details of the accident are yet to be disclosed, authorities strongly believe that Gutierrez-Nava may have lost control of his motorcycle, leading to the fatal incident. Cedar City Police, assisted by Iron County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue, worked tirelessly for about three days to quickly locate the missing man. Preliminary investigations indicate that the victim may have lost control of his motorcycle, resulting in a fatal crash, reported the Cedar City Police Department, as obtained by FOX13.
Details about the time of the crash have not been made clear immediately. The Utah Highway Patrol is still investigating the precise circumstances that led to the accident and the subsequent fatality. The community, having come together in search of Gutierrez-Nava, now mourns his untimely demise.
