The Clark County Sheriff's Office is intensifying their hunt for a third individual implicated in a series of armed robberies in the Clark County area, as reported by KOIN. This comes after a November incident in which a seller was violently assaulted and robbed during what was meant to be a mundane transaction of a cell phone.

According to a statement obtained by KPTV, the victim was pistol-whipped, and his personal belongings, including a cell phone, were forcibly taken. The authorities were alerted to the robbery shortly before 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 6, after the victim had arranged to meet with an online buyer. The suspect's pattern of luring in victims through online marketplace communications before robbing them in person has been identified by detectives, who believe this group has committed several similar crimes within a the past month.

So far, two individuals have been apprehended in connection with the robberies. While they remain in custody, the search continues for the third suspect, described by the Clark County Sheriff's Office as a Hispanic or Pacific Islander male with long hair in a ponytail, approximately 5'10" to 6'2" tall with a large build. He was last seen wearing a light-colored Champion hooded sweatshirt, as noted by KATU.

In the ongoing investigation, the Sheriff's Office has been collaborating closely with other law enforcement agencies to compile evidence and pursue charges. Details on the possible connection of the crimes to other cases in the region are still under review. Community members are urged to exercise caution when conducting transactions with strangers and to report any suspicious activity that could assist in the capture of the remaining fugitive.
