Fulton County District 5 residents, get ready for a dialogue with your local government. Commissioner Marvin S. Arrington, Jr. is bringing back the annual Winter District Dialogues this December with both in-person and virtual options. This is a chance to engage directly with the Commissioner and receive updates on the 2025 Proposed Fulton County Budget, amongst other community concerns.
The series will kick off with a virtual town hall on December 9 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., accessible via Zoom and YouTube. No need to brace for the winter chill for this one – you can join the conversation from the warmth of your own home. For those who prefer a face-to-face interaction, there are two in-person town hall meetings scheduled for South Fulton. As the Fulton County Government announcement details, these town halls are an opportunity for constituents to connect with local officials and get their voices heard on upcoming fiscal plans.
The first in-person meeting will take place on December 10 at the Wolf Creek Library, with the address listed as 3100 Enon Road in South Fulton, GA 30331. The final gathering is scheduled for December 19 at the South Annex, located at 5600 Stonewall Tell Rd, South Fulton, GA 30349. Both face-to-face events are slated for 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Arrington's office is hosting dialogues to maintain transparency and communication with the public. District 5 residents are encouraged to attend and share their thoughts on the proposed budget and other community issues. Meeting times and RSVP links are provided for each session, and residents can RSVP online to ensure their spot and have a say in Fulton County's fiscal future.
