
As Eugene residents prepare for the Thanksgiving holiday, the City of Eugene has announced a schedule of closures and service adjustments. Administrative offices will be closed, while emergency services will continue to operate as usual.
The City of Eugene has announced that all City administrative offices will be closed next week on Thursday and Friday. The Eugene Public Library will also be closed next Thursday, but will reopen next Friday to resume regular services.
During the Thanksgiving holiday, community centers and pools, including Amazon, Echo Hollow, and Sheldon, will be closed for the two-day period. Emergency services, including the police and fire departments, will remain fully operational, with the main police station on Country Club Road open to provide continuous support.
During the Thanksgiving holiday, parking will be free at city-managed facilities next Thursday, though the train depot surface lot will remain paid. The Eugene Airport will continue regular operations, with flights and runway activity unaffected, while administrative staff will observe the holiday.
The Spay and Neuter Clinic will be closed for the holiday, and services will resume after the break. All city offices and facilities will return to regular hours on December 2.
