Last night, a single-vehicle crash on Northeast Airport Way in Portland's Argay Terrace Neighborhood claimed the life of a driver. The accident, which involved a rollover, occurred yesterday, at around 8:15 p.m., as reported by the Portland Police Bureau. When officers from the North Precinct arrived at the 13800 block of Northeast Airport Way, they discovered the vehicle off the roadway, overturned in a nearby parking lot, with the driver already deceased.
After the crash, the Portland Police Traffic Division's Major Crash Team began the investigation. Traffic was affected, with the westbound lanes closed from Northeast 148th Avenue to Northeast 138th Avenue on Northeast Airport Way. The eastbound lanes remained open, but drivers were warned to proceed cautiously due to the serious nature of the incident.
