
The FBI is actively seeking the public's assistance to track down a suspect involved in a bank robbery that took place in the area of west Miami-Dade over the weekend. According to Local 10, the incident occurred at approximately 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Chase Bank located at 9501 W. Flagler St. in the Fontainebleau vicinity.
Details disclosed by the FBI Miami spokesperson via email delineate how the robber made their entrance into the bank and proceeded to demand cash from an employee. Local 10 reports affirm that the ordeal resulted in no physical injuries to those present on the scene. Authorities have since released a photograph showing the suspect clad in a black hat, a black face mask, and a black "Sniper Gang" hoodie, in an effort to encourage anyone with information to come forward.
In a separate account, WSVN adds that the Miami Dade Police were quickly on the scene at the bank branch near Northwest 97th Avenue and West Flagler Street shortly after the robbery was reported. During the event, the thief is said to have used a demand note handed over to the teller, before swiftly making a get-away. The presence or use of a weapon, during the incident, has not been confirmed.
