WalletHub's analysis covers a wide range of safety factors, including home and community safety, natural disaster risk, and financial safety. According to Local10, the research looked at everything from terrorist attack rates to road quality.
Additionally, Pembroke Pines emerged as one of the top contenders for safety, managing to make the list along with Hialeah and securing a mention in the wider comparison. WalletHub illuminated the criteria used for home and community safety on their website, which detailed a variety of factors including the number of law-enforcement employees and incidences of theft, to the readiness of emergency medical technicians and paramedics.
Other Florida cities graced the top 100 safest cities list, with Cape Coral and Pembroke Pines coming in at respective rankings of 59 and 73. Details shared by ONLY in DADE on Instagram highlighted Hialeah's notable standing both within the state of Florida and across the nation as the 53rd safest city.
