A shocking incident occurred at Southwood Middle School in Palmetto Bay, where 20-year-old Aaron Mikaeel Sieunarine was apprehended by police for allegedly masturbating in his car during the time students were being dismissed. According to WSVN, Sieunarine is facing multiple charges that include lewd and lascivious exhibition, fleeing and eluding police, trespassing in a school safety zone, and reckless driving.
The incident prompted swift action from the Miami-Dade Schools Police Department after school staff reported seeing a vehicle fitting the description given by two juvenile students who had reportedly seen a man engaged in the act two weeks prior. The Miami-Dade Schools Police Department indicated that when officers approached the car on Monday, "they observed his pants partially lowered." A pursuit ensued after Sieunarine fled in his vehicle, driving dangerously through the school zone, which led to the delay of school buses and the securing of students for their safety, as detailed by WSVN.
Police were able to locate Sieunarine after a brief chase, finding his vehicle at U.S. 1 and SW 136th Street. As per the shared details by Cutler Bay Social, he was arrested and taken into custody. The school district has yet to release an official statement on the matter.
