The clear skies are forecast to last through Saturday night, with a low near 42°F and calm winds shifting to come from the south.
Come Sunday, temperatures are expected to climb even higher with the NWS stating "Sunny, with a high near 66," and a more vigorous south wind at 5 to 15 mph, which could see gusts reaching up to 25 mph, the warmth of the sun will be met with the strength of the wind. The night will remain partly cloudy, with lows reaching 58°F and the south wind continuing to impact the area at 10 to 15 mph, with possible gusts as high as 25 mph.
As the new week begins, Monday is expected to bring a cooler front and a 30 percent chance of showers after noon with mostly cloudy skies; temperatures will peak near 71°F before a shift in wind direction descending as a portent of the impending change. "Mostly cloudy, with a low around 42," is forecast for Monday night with an increased chance of rainfall, and winds once again changing direction, becoming north-northeast after midnight, according to NWS.
Looking towards midweek, Tuesday and Wednesday present a mixed bag with mostly sunny skies on Tuesday and a more unsettled pattern setting on Wednesday featuring a 50 percent chance of showers as the region becomes mostly cloudy with highs nearing 59°F. The likelihood of precipitation increases to 70 percent by Wednesday night, with showers and potential thunderstorms predicted. In anticipation of Thanksgiving Day, the forecast indicates showers likely with mostly cloudy conditions and high temperatures around 56°F, with the chance of rain standing at a moderate 60 percent.
