Wind from the north-northwest is expected to be a light 5 to 10 mph.

As the weekend approaches, residents can expect to initially see increasing clouds on Saturday with highs inching up near 49 degrees and a southerly breeze of 5 to 10 mph. Saturday night's forecast calls for partly cloudy conditions and a low of around 33 degrees, as reported by the National Weather Service. Notably, the south wind is expected to quickly shift to west northwest after midnight, though by only around 5 mph.
The trend of pleasant, albeit crisp, autumn weather is set to continue through the beginning of the following week. Sunday predicts mostly sunny skies with a high near 48 degrees and a calm north wind around 5 mph. Come nightfall, the serenity holds with a low of around 26 degrees and calming winds.
Come Monday, the City of Memphis is to be bathed once again in sunny expanses with the thermometer tiptoeing to a high near 44 degrees. The calm of the wind will give way to north-northwest flows at about 5 mph in the morning. For those venturing into the night, mostly clear skies await as temperatures dip to around 27 degrees, as per the National Weather Service. For Tuesday and beyond, it's a steady climb with the sun high and barely a cloud in the sky, peaking with a high near 53 on Wednesday and a slight chance for rain come Thursday.
