A tragic incident occurred on Halloween night in Opa-locka, where a woman was found shot to death inside a vehicle, according to the Miami-Dade Police Department. Responding to a call about an unresponsive female around 10:31 p.m., officers discovered her at 4073 NW 135th Street, as reported by the Miami Herald.
Authorities from Miami-Dade Fire Rescue quickly transported the victim, who had multiple gunshot wounds, to Jackson Memorial Hospital Ryder Trauma Center, where she was pronounced dead. Police say the incident appears to be linked to a domestic altercation.
Following the horrific event, a man connected to the deceased was detained, although his relationship to her has not been disclosed, according to NBC Miami. The Miami-Dade Police Department's homicide bureau is now leading the investigation into the tragedy.
