
The City of Miami Fire Rescue is bringing the community together for their annual Fire Expo & Festival. According to an announcement by Local 10, the family-friendly event will unfold at Regatta Park in Coconut Grove on November 23, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This expo is unique opportunity for residents to interact with local firefighters and gain hands-on experience in fire safety.
The event promises a lineup of activities that cater to all, ranging from live rescue demonstrations to interactive safety workshops. As shared by the City of Miami Department of Fire-Rescue on their social media page, some of the event highlights include up close exploration of fire trucks and a special appearance by Sparky the Fire Dog. The MFR mascot, which is a hit with the kids for his role in teaching about fire safety, will be part of the festive atmosphere.
