
Miami residents kicked off Black Friday with cool temperatures in the mid to upper 60s, creating a refreshing start for early shoppers. The day will stay partly cloudy, with highs reaching the low 80s. A light south breeze will pick up in the afternoon as a cold front moves toward the area, according to a forecast by NOAA's National Weather Service.
The chance of rain today is low, but it marks the start of a gradual temperature drop over the weekend. In the evening, temperatures will drop to the mid and upper 60s. "The wind will shift and become more northerly ushering in the cooler air," reported NBC Miami. These northerly winds will bring the high temperatures down to around 80 degrees for the weekend.
As Miami approaches Sunday, expect partly sunny skies and highs around 79 degrees. A cold front will arrive, bringing temperatures down to the low to mid-70s for the start of the work week, according to NOAA's National Weather Service. Nights will be noticeably cooler, with lows in the upper 50s to low 60s, well below the typical temperatures for South Florida at this time of year.
Monday will bring mostly sunny skies with temperatures reaching around 77 degrees. "North wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20+ mph," predicts NBC Miami. The cooler weather will last for several days, but temperatures are expected to warm up again by late next week.
