Milwaukee Alderman Jonathan Brostoff, a public servant representing the city's east side in Aldermanic District 3, has died. The FOX6 News reported this somber news yesterday, confirming that the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office is actively conducting a death investigation following the discovery of his body at Greenfield Park.
The circumstances surrounding Brostoff's passing are being investigated as a suicide, with an autopsy scheduled to take place today. According to a statement obtained by WISN 12 News, "The investigation involves an adult male who appears to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound," as disclosed by West Allis Deputy Police Chief Robert Fletcher.
