
The Nevada State Police are actively seeking a suspect involved in a hit-and-run incident that left a woman in critical condition early Thursday morning on Interstate 15 near Lake Mead Boulevard. The crash occurred at approximately 3:50 a.m., according to FOX5 Vegas. The authorities have reported that the vehicle in question is likely a 2018 Cadillac Escalade or a GMC Yukon with probable damage to its left-front or left side.
Troopers have closed the two far left travel lanes of the freeway to investigate the crash scene, which caused significant traffic delays during the early hours. A female pedestrian, whose identity has not been disclosed, was struck by the suspect's vehicle and is currently receiving medical care in a local hospital, as 8 News Now reported.
The Nevada State Police Department are appealing to the public for assistance in locating the driver who fled the scene. They urge anyone with information to come forward and help bring justice for the victim.
