A fatal shootout in Antioch has left one person dead, and the Metro Nashville Police Department is actively investigating the incident. The gunfire exchange occurred overnight at the Mill Creek Village shopping plaza, situated at the intersection of Bell Road and Blue Hole Road. According to WSMV, a man was shot and attempted to flee in his vehicle, but crashed into the back wall of a dentist's office, where he was later found dead.
WKRN provided further details indicating the Metro officers responded to an emergency call just after 10:30 p.m. The site of the incident was in the 1300 block of Bell Road at a shopping center parking lot. Around 5 a.m., the badly damaged car was removed from the scene and placed onto a tow truck.
