
Early this morning, a tragic single-vehicle accident in the Frayser community resulted in one death and left another person in critical condition. The crash happened just before 2 a.m. at the intersection of Thomas Street and Gilliland Avenue. Memphis Police discovered the overturned vehicle with two victims; one was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other was taken to the hospital, according to an Action News 5 report.
The Memphis Police Department was swift to respond to the crash, which involved only the one red sedan. As noted by WREG, the vehicle was found overturned, and the cause of the accident is still under investigation.
