Early in the morning on Thursday, a tragic incident occurred on the Dan Ryan Expressway in the Fuller Park area when a vehicle struck and killed a pedestrian. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, the collision happened around 12:25 a.m. The victim, whose identity yet awaits release, was found deceased at the scene in the left lane at 43rd Street.
The driver involved in the incident sustained minor injuries and was subsequently transported to a hospital for treatment.
