
Authorities are actively seeking information regarding a sexual assault that took place at Metzger Park in Portland. According to the Washington County Sheriff's Office, the incident was reported on September 7, after deputies were called to Providence St. Vincent Medical Center.
The victim, while walking her dog in the park, was approached and sexually assaulted by an unknown man. The assailant is reported to be a Pacific Islander man, around 30 years old, with a stocky build, standing 5' 10" tall and weighing approximately 180 lbs. He has straight black hair that reaches down to the nape of his neck, and was last seen wearing basketball shorts with a white stripe, a dark T-shirt, flip-flops and a backward baseball cap. A composite description of the attacker was provided by the victim to aid investigators in their search.
