Scottsdale-based Sonora West Development, a noted developer in luxury projects, has recently announced the unveiling of its latest residential community, Serene, located in north Scottsdale with prices commencing at $2.5 million. The project comprises 21 semi-custom homes that promise contemporary, modern living in a desirable location. The Phoenix Business Journal reports that the community is situated near Dynamite and Alma School roads, offering residents spacious lots and thoughtfully designed floor plans.
With a focus on zero maintenance, "Serene is more of a high-end, lock-and-leave," Scott Pfeiffer, the founder of Sonora West Development, told The Phoenix Business Journal. Pfeiffer, who started his career as a framer before establishing the company in 2000, seeks inspiration for his designs from coastal states. Still preparing the two model homes for Serene, three of the 21 homes have already been sold, indicating a market eager for luxury with convenience.
According to Serene's developers, Swaback Architects are helming the architectural design while Est Est Inc. is responsible for the interior aesthetics. Mike Domer of Launch Powered by Compass, a partner in the project, is handling all sales activities. Details released showcase that the homes will range in size from 2,825 to 3,730 square feet, nestled on lots varying between 12,000 and 18,000 square feet. Experience an invite-only VIP preview of the development is scheduled for December 12, with a grand opening party set for 2025.
In addition to Serene, Pfeiffer is eyeing other lucrative projects. "We have close to a quarter billion dollars of product we're putting on the market soon," said Pfeiffer, who, after acquiring a 10-acre parcel two years ago for Serene, has since invested about $10 million in land improvements and preparations for development, according to an interview obtained by The Phoenix Business Journal. He also disclosed plans for 31 custom lots near Pima Road and Stagecoach Pass in Carefree, which will feature larger homes starting in the $3 million range, including guest house and RV garage options.
As the Phoenix real estate market continues to thrive, developments such as Serene are a testament to the sustained demand for luxury living options.
