A swimmer was found dead in the rough waters north of the Boynton Beach Inlet yesterday. Authorities were notified at 10:32 a.m. after beachgoers saw the man struggling against the surf and rip currents in an unprotected area, as per the WPTV report.

Rescuers, including security officers and medics from a nearby estate, managed to bring the man out of the rough sea. Despite their quick efforts to perform CPR, his condition did not improve. Upon arrival, Palm Beach County Fire Rescue took over the lifesaving attempts, but unfortunately, they were unsuccessful, according to WPBF.

According to CBS 12, the victim was rushed to Bethesda Hospital East, where, at 11:17 a.m., the emergency room staff pronounced him dead. As of this time, the man's identity has not been disclosed, and an autopsy is scheduled to determine the cause of death.

Officials have cautioned swimmers about the potential dangers of venturing into water unsupervised, especially in areas known for unpredictable currents and lack of lifeguard surveillance.
