Early this morning, three young lives were tragically cut short following the fiery crash of a Tesla Cybertruck in Piedmont, a day ahead of Thanksgiving. According to ABC7 News, the accident occurred at the intersection of Hampton Road and King Avenue just after 3 a.m., when the vehicle, after purportedly losing control, collided with a cement wall and became wedged between the wall and a tree, subsequently erupting into flames.
Piedmont Police Captain Chris Monahan reported that the vehicle "jumped the curb, struck a cement wall, and then wedged in between the wall and a tree." The emergency response was bolstered by an iPhone inside the Cybertruck, which notified 911 of the crash. In a tragic twist, a second car arrived at the scene where the driver managed to rescue one person from the wreck. The injured individual was taken to the hospital and is said to be in stable condition, though their identity and exact condition haven't been released, as per ABC7 News.
