Two people became victims of an armed robbery in the Soulard neighborhood. The crime occurred on Russell in the 1200 block late yesterday evening, according to a press release from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.
A 29-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman were outside her car when three men exited a black truck and robbed them at gunpoint. The suspects took money from the victims and searched the woman's car but left without taking anything else.
Following the robbery, a fourth accomplice returned to the scene with the truck to pick up the three suspects before they all fled together. The man and woman did not sustain injuries during the incident.
