Get ready to deck the halls at Wheeler Historic Farm this holiday season, where families can gather to celebrate with a festive array of activities. In an event announced by Salt Lake County Parks and Recreation, visitors can explore the Holiday Market with its free admission, offering a diverse selection of handcrafted goods. Over 50 local artisans, crafters, and bakers will display their works in the Activity Barn and Education Center.
For those looking to quickly find unique holiday gifts while also supporting the local economy, the Holiday Market is set to open on Friday, November 29, from 5 pm to 8 pm and will continue on Saturday, November 30, and Sunday, December 1, from 9 am to 5 pm each day.
Along with the market, the farm hosts their Festive Fridays series, enchanting visitors with an evening of holiday lights and seasonal joy. For four consecutive Fridays starting November 29, families can enjoy wagon rides wrapped in winter's embrace, enhanced by the radiant tapestries of light across the landscape.
Wagon rides, priced at $3 per person for ages two and up, will be available from 5 pm to 7 pm. This activity provides a welcome chance to slowly see the sights and embrace the yuletide spirit in a manner that echoes the farm's serene setting.
