A domestic-related shooting in Clarksville has resulted in the death of one person and the arrest of 20-year-old Nathan Rodriguez. The Clarksville Police Department responded to the incident, which took place at a residence on West Creek Drive on Monday afternoon around 2:00 P.M., WSMV reports.
Responding officers found the victim already suffering from a gunshot wound, leading to their transportation to Tennova Healthcare by Montgomery County Emergency Medical Services. Despite rapid aid, the individual was pronounced dead a short time later. According to the Clarksville Police Department, this was "a domestic-related incident and there is no threat to the public," WKRN states.
In connection with this case, Nathan Rodriguez was apprehended by the CPD detectives and charted with first-degree murder.
