
A 24-year-old man was carjacked in Gravois Park yesterday evening, according to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. The incident occurred just after 5:30 p.m. in the 3500 block of Tennessee, when the victim was approached by an armed assailant after parking his 2025 Volkswagen Jetta.
According to a statement from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the victim was gathering his belongings when a masked suspect approached, brandishing a dark-colored gun. Threatening violence, the assailant forced the man to exit his 2025 Volkswagen Jetta and empty his pockets. Afterward, six more suspects entered the vehicle and fled the scene.
The authorities are actively investigating the carjacking. District 3 police officers are piecing together the events that led to the theft of the grey sedan and the subsequent robbery of its owner.
