Charlotte County officials are gearing up for a busy week of government meetings, starting Monday, Dec. 9, where the affairs of the county will be deliberated across multiple gatherings. The County Commission Pre-Agenda meeting is set to kick off the week at 9 a.m. at the Charlotte County Administration Center, according to a published article on the Charlotte County's official website. This will be followed by the Planning and Zoning Board at 1:30 p.m. in Room 119 at the same venue.
The following day, Dec. 10, is penciled in for the County Commission Regular and Land Use Meeting, set to commence at 9 a.m., this session is expected to draw stakeholders interested in the future shaping of Charlotte County's land use policies and the regular agenda will be taking place, mind you at the same location, Room 119, in the Charlotte County Administration Center. Citizens looking to appeal zoning decisions will have their opportunity to be heard on Wednesday, Dec. 11, at the Board of Zoning Appeals meeting, which convenes at 9 a.m. in Room 119; this is scheduled concurrently with the Manasota Key Street & Drainage MSTU Advisory Board at the Mac V. Horton West County Annex, beginning at 9:30 a.m., and not far behind in scheduling, the Northwest Port Charlotte Waterway MSBU Advisory Board meets at 10 a.m. at the Centennial Park Recreation Center.
Matters of local infrastructure and environmental concern continue on Wednesday with the Mid Charlotte Stormwater MSBU Advisory Board meeting at 2 p.m., also at the Centennial Park Recreation Center. Progressing into the later part of the week, the Rotonda Sands Street & Drainage MSBU Advisory Board is set to gather Thursday, Dec. 12, at 9:30 a.m. at the Mac V. Horton West County Annex, at the same time the Marine Advisory Committee will be assembling in Room B-106 of the Charlotte County Administration Center. The series of public engagements wraps up with the Englewood East Street & Drainage MSBU Advisory Board at 1:30 p.m., again at the Mac V. Horton West County Annex.
