Chicago police have charged a 44-year-old man, Antuan Hill, in connection with a stabbing incident that left a 29-year-old male seriously injured. The Chicago Police Department reported that the offender, who resides on the 3200 block of S. Paulina St., faces one felony count of first-degree attempted murder.

Detained by the USMS Great Lakes Fugitive Task Force on December 11, 2024, Hill was found on the 3100 block of S. Archer Ave. Having been positively identified as the assailant in the August 27 incident occurring in the 3200 block of S. Paulina St. where the victim was stabbed, the accused was taken into custody. In a direct quote from the Chicago Police Department's release, "The offender was placed into custody and charged accordingly." The detention hearing for Hill is scheduled for today, at the courthouse located at 2600 S. California.
