As reported by WGN-TV, authorities issued an "all clear" following the discovery of a suspicious object, later identified as a hand grenade, inside a bag at Original Jimmy's Red Hots, located at the corner of Grand Avenue and Pulaski Road.

The Chicago Police Bomb Squad was called to the scene to investigate the object, which CBS Chicago described as having been found inside a bag.
