The assault took place on the 1000 block of South Cicero Avenue in the early hours of December 21, 2024. According to the police report, a male offender threatened a male juvenile victim with a knife and coerced the victim into performing a sexual act.
While the suspect remains at large, Chicago Police have provided a description of the offender: a Black male aged between 30 and 35, with a medium build, standing approximately between 5'05 and 5'06, and with dreadlocks. He was last seen wearing a black coat, pants, a black ski mask, and white Air Force One gym shoes.
The Chicago Police urge locals to maintain vigilance and take precautions for their safety. Residents are advised to be aware of their surroundings and prefer walking in pairs or groups. In the event of encountering suspicious activity, the public should immediately contact authorities by dialing 9-1-1. Bystanders are also reminded that in the case of witnessing a fleeing assailant, they should not pursue but rather provide detailed information to the police.
