
The Chicago Police Department has reported that 20-year-old Kimari Tousant of the 5300 block of W. Chicago Ave., Chicago, has been charged with first-degree murder and murder with a strong probability of death or injury. This follows the fatal stabbing of a 20-year-old woman in the same location, according to a press release from the department.
Tousant was arrested early morning on Friday, after she was identified as the suspect in the violent incident that left another young life tragically cut short in an area all too familiar with the sting of violence, the CPD's report details the arrest occurring at 3:14 a.m., and just several hours before, the 20-year-old victim was stabbed, and it was within the 15th District where this brutal act took place.
