San José Police Department confirmed the apprehension of four suspects in connection with the city's 24th homicide of the year following a shooting incident that took place on Townsend Avenue. The San José Police Department Patrol Officers, as reported by the SJPD news release, responded to a distress call in the early hours of September 27, discovering an adult male victim who had suffered gunshot wounds and was later pronounced dead at the scene.
In an ongoing investigation led by the San José Police Department's Homicide Unit, detectives identified Levi Padilla, Jasiah Eti, and two juvenile males as the primary suspects, obtaining warrants for their detention. With cooperation from the SJPD Covert Response Unit and MERGE Unit, the suspects were located and arrested last Wednesday within the city limits of San José. According to the Hoodline report, the two adult suspects were booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail, while the juveniles were booked into the Santa Clara County Juvenile Hall.
