
Four people were wounded in a shooting last night in Southwest Miami-Dade, near the 26000 block of Southwest 138th Court, according to Miami-Dade Police. The shooting occurred just before 6:30 p.m., and a 2022 Dodge Charger was identified in the police scanner, according to WSVN report.
When police arrived, they found that three victims had already been taken to Baptist Health Homestead Hospital by a friend. Two other victims were airlifted by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue to Jackson South Medical Center due to the severity of their injuries. The fourth victim was also transferred, as reported by NBC Miami.
All victims are in critical but stable condition. Investigators were on scene overnight collecting evidence and documenting shell casings. The cause of the conflict is unclear, but detectives believe the shooter may be a woman known to the victims. The suspect remains at large as of yesterday night.
Miami-Dade Police are urging anyone with information about the shooting or the suspect's whereabouts to come forward. Tips can be submitted anonymously to Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS, and may lead to a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the suspect's arrest.
